The Jigsaw killer will continue his bloody rampage on high-def this
January, with Lionsgate serving up an even grislier unrated cut of 'Saw IV' on Blu-ray and DVD.
The fourth in the seemingly unstoppable (and highly lucrative) horror franchise,
'Saw IV' carved up
over $65 million at the box office this past Halloween. Fans will now get an
even more gruesome look at the Jigsaw's handiwork on January 22, 2008, when
Lionsgate debuts a never-before-seen "Unrated Director's Cut" of the film on Blu-ray, day-and-date with the standard-def DVD.
The studio has yet to reveal the full gory details for 'Saw IV,' but the supplements
announced so far include multiple audio commentaries, the "Props of 'Saw
IV'" and 'Traps of 'Saw IV'" featurettes and the "Director's
Diary." We expect a full press release in the coming days, so we'll keep
you posted as soon as final specs come in.
Lionsgate has set a suggested $39.98 list price for the Blu-ray.
As always, you'll find disc details for 'Saw IV' linked from our Blu-ray
