The horror remake 'My Bloody Valentine' is chopping its way to Blu-ray, with Lionsgate alerting retailers to a late-May Blu-ray arrival for the slasher remake.
An update of the 1981 cult fave, 'My Bloody Valentine' earned nearly $50 million during its theatrical release earlier this year, thanks in large part to a hit run in 3-D theaters. Lionsgate has told retailers to expect a May 19 Blu-ray arrival for the film, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
There's no word yet on tech specs or supplements, or whether the studio will be presenting the film in a 3-D version. We expect more details in the days ahead, so stay tuned.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.99.
