Three new entertainment speakers have been detailed.
The XBOOM RK7 (MSRP $349.99) is a 550-watt speaker geared toward party use. The speaker includes an X-grip handle for easy transport and the ability to be positioned either vertically or horizontally. In addition, the device supports a Wireless Party Link feature, which enables up to 10 RK7s to be wirelessly connected. Likewise, the speaker offers a Karaoke Creator which uses built-in sound-enhancing voice filters to suppress vocal frequencies on music and add special effects.
Meanwhile, the XBOOM CM4590 (MSRP $199.99) is a 700W Bluetooth Music System with a 2.1-channel configuration and a built-in subwoofer. In addition, the device can wirelessly link to an LG TV through the Sound Sync Wireless feature using Bluetooth technology.
Finally, the XBOOM RL3 (MSRP $149.99) is a 130-watt tower speaker with a unique single-cabinet design. The unit offers room-filling sound and support for high-res audio playback. Likewise, the speaker also includes Bluetooth connectivity for music with support for multiple devices, enabling users to switch between two smartphones.
And beyond the standard XBOOM models, LG also offers the XBOOM Go collection of portable speakers with Meridian audio technology. The lineup is led by the PK5 (MSRP $129.99) and PK7 (MSRP $229.99). Both models feature Grab and Go handles, splash-resistant designs, and Beat Lighting which can synchronize integrated LED lights to match the rhythm of the music being played. The PK5 is rated for up to 18 hours of battery life, and the PK7 is rated for up to 22 hours of battery life.
