The company's latest soundbar has been detailed.
LG has announced the newest addition to its Music Flow lineup. The upcoming LAS855M is the company's first curved soundbar and is designed to be paired with curved screen displays like the 65EG9600 OLED Ultra HD TV.
"Our new premium Curved Sound Bar is the perfect complement to our stunning curved OLED TVs and offers consumers the best home entertainment experience with beautiful devices that look as great as they perform," said David VanderWaal, vice president of marketing, LG Electronics USA. "We welcome the new Curved Sound Bar to LG’s Music Flow family, which offers virtually limitless listening choices and premium listening experience that’s easy to enjoy."
The LAS855M is a 4.1 channel soundbar with 360 watts and a wireless subwoofer. In addition, the speaker features LG's i-Sound mode which can adjust the soundbar's output to suit specific content types. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity are included as well, along with HDMI pass-through. Finally, the device also supports Google Cast, letting users send music to the speaker from their mobile devices and computers.
LG's LAS855M Curved Soundbar will start shipping in October for a suggested retail price of $699.
