The electronics manufacturer has earned several honors for its products.
The Consumer Technology Association has bestowed LG with 21 awards for products set to be on display at CES 2016. The awards cover 10 categories, including Video Displays and Wireless Handsets.
"LG is committed to delivering Innovation for a Better Life and our 2016 CES Innovation Awards across 10 categories show we are doing fulfilling our brand promise," said William Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics USA. "From our revolutionary OLED TVs to the groundbreaking TWIN Wash and everything in between, LG continues to deliver products that make consumers’ lives easier. We look forward to introducing our new products at CES in January."
Recognized products include the company's new 2016 77-inch 4K Ultra HD OLED TV. The upcoming TV has received the "Best of Innovations" award for video displays thanks to its modern engineering and design. In addition, the OLED panel offers perfect blacks, wide viewing angles, and HDR (high dynamic range) support. Meanwhile, LG has also received awards for a new advanced projector, an UltraWide monitor, and the LG V10 smartphone.
Additional LG award winners, including more 4K Ultra HD OLED & LCD models, will be announced during CES 2016. The show will be held on January 6-9 in Las Vegas.
