A new portable speaker model has been announced.
Klipsch has revealed the latest addition to its audio lineup. The Klipsch Groove Portable Bluetooth speaker offers big sound in a compact design.
"This is the first product in an excitingly large line up of wireless speakers that Klipsch will introduce over the next several years. The Klipsch Groove is a solution for people that want quality audio on the go as technology advances and content is consumed in different formats," notes Steve Jain, VP and GM of Digital, Streaming and Portable Audio Solutions at Klipsch.
The speaker measures just over 5-inches wide by 4-inches high and 2-inches deep, and features one 3-inch, full-range high-output driver and two 2-inch side-firing oval-shaped passive bass radiators. In addition, the device is rated for 10 watts of digital power and includes a rechargeable Lithium battery that delivers up to eight hours of playback. Bluetooth connectivity and a 3.5mm input are integrated as well. Finally, the speaker is IPX4-certified for splash resistance.
Klipsch's Groove Portable Bluetooth speaker is now available for a suggested retail price of $149. More speakers in the series will released in 2016.
