In our fourth round of interviews, we ask our favorite actors, writers, and filmmakers to share their favorite film scenes with us. It's one of our favorite questions to ask people, as each professional has different tastes. In the past, we've asked Kevin Smith, John Turturro, Jim Rash, Nat Faxon, Will Forte, Keanu Reeves, Michael Pitt, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Adrianne Palicki, Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and Mike Cahill what their favorite scenes were, along with tons of other questions. You can check our previous rounds of questions by CLICKING HERE for part 1, CLICK HERE for part 2, and CLICKING HERE for part 3. Below are the next three interviews for your enjoyment.
Morgan Spurlock ('Super Size Me','Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope', 'One Direction: This is Us')
I had the amazing opportunity and pleasure to sit down and talk with director Morgan Spurlock. Turns out, we had a lot in common. After we discussed why he chose One Direction to document, we geeked out on 'The Simpsons', Steve Martin, horror movies, Fangoria Magazine, and much more. Spurlock is a great filmmaker and I can't wait to see his next project.
Skip to the 5:45 mark for his favorite scenes, which includes 'Scanners'.
Derek Cianfrance ('Place Beyond the Pines', 'Blue Valentine')
We has the chance to meet with the fantastic filmmaker 'Derek Cianfrance'. We discussed how he made 'Place Beyond the Pines', working with Bradley Cooper, Ray Liotta, and Ryan Gosling, and his love of mafia movies. He's currently filming a movie called 'Metalhead' about a heavy metal drummer. It was a lot of fun to talk with him.
Skip to the 8:00 mark for his favorite scenes, which include 'The Gospel According to St. Matthew', 'Woman Under the Influence', 'Goodfellas', 'Gimme Shelter'.
Josh Gad and Joshua Michael Stern ('Jobs', 'The Rocker', 'Frozen')
I was lucky enough to sit down with actor Josh Gad and director Joshua Michael Stern and discuss their work on the Steve Jobs biopic, 'Jobs'. We talk about how much access they had to the Apple archives and corporate offices, working with Ashton Kutcher, if Apple gave them any discounts, and of course their favorite films.
Skip to the 5:25 mark, which include 'Jaws', 'The Goonies', 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', and 'Poltergeist'.
