Image Entertainment has announced a late-May Blu-ray arrival for the Tony-winning Broadway musical 'Company.'
Sweeping all of the major awards at the 2007 Tonys (including Best Revival), 'Company' takes a comedic and unconventional look at love and commitment in Manhattan, and features nearly a dozen classic Stephen Sondheim songs, including "Another Hundred People," "Side by Side by Side," "The Ladies Who Lunch" and "Being Alive."
Starring the original Broadway cast and captured entirely with high-def cameras, the live performance of 'Company' will hit Blu-ray on May 20 (day-and-date with a standard DVD version).
The BD-50 dual-layer presentation will feature 1080p video and a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround audio.
Bonus features include video interviews with director John Doyle and star Raquel Esparza, plus the featurette "An Audience with Stephen Sondheim."
Image has set a suggested list price of $29.95 for the Blu-ray.
