The hit sitcom is now available to stream on Hulu.
Hulu has announced a new content licensing agreement with The Disney-ABC Television Group. As part of the deal, Hulu now has the exclusive subscription streaming video-on-demand rights to ABCs 'black-ish.'
Andre 'Dre' Johnson (Anthony Anderson) has a great job, a beautiful wife, Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross), four kids and a colonial home in the 'burbs. But has success brought too much assimilation for this black family? With a little help from his dad (Laurence Fishburne), Dre sets out to establish a sense of cultural identity for his family that honors their past while embracing the future. black-ish stars Anthony Anderson as Dre, Tracee Ellis Ross as Rainbow, Yara Shahidi as Zoey, Marcus Scribner as Andre Jr., Miles Brown as Jack, Marsai Martin as Diane and Laurence Fishburne as Pops. The series was created by Kenya Barris and is executive produced by Barris, Jonathan Groff, Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland, E. Brian Dobbins and Corey Nickerson. The series is produced by ABC Studios.
All past episodes of 'black-ish' are now available to stream through Hulu. Likewise, new episodes will continue to be added for subscribers the day after they air on ABC. The show is currently in its third season.
Outside of the new 'black-ish' ABC deal, Hulu also recently announced a licensing agreement for theatrical features with The Walt Disney Studios. As part of the multi-year deal, Hulu will now become the exclusive subscription video on-demand home to several Disney family favorites like 'The Nightmare Before Christmas,' 'Mulan,' 'Pocahontas,' 'Hercules,' 'Sister Act,' and 'Air Bud.'
Upcoming Hulu series include 'The Path' season two on January 25, the first season of 'National Treasure' on March 1, 'The Handmaid's Tale' on April 26, a reimagining of 'Foxy Brown' starring Meagan Good, and 'Future Man' from executive producers Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Matt Tolmach, and James Weaver.
A current Hulu subscription starts at $8 per month with commercials. In addition, ad-free playback is available for $12 per month.
