'Hook' Blu-ray Announced

Steven Spielberg's 1991 live-action follow-up to 'Peter Pan' will set sail on Blu-ray this November!

In an early announcement to retailers, Sony says 'Hook' is planned for a Blu-ray release on November 1.

The film starring Robin Williams as Peter, Julia Roberts as Tinkerbell, and Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook was nominated for five Oscars including Best Art/Set Decoration, Best Costume Design, Best Visual Effects, Best Makeup, and Best Music/Original Song for "When You're Alone" (John Williams and Leslie Bricusse).

The release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack with 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements have yet to be revealed.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $19.99.
