If you’re looking for a good size set on the cheap, they’ve got a $719 51” plasma for you. Want the top of the line? The 65” 8000 series is on the way for $5,099.
Talk about information overload. Samsung has revealed the pricing and availability information for its new home theater gear, starting with some very cool TVs, most of which are due out this month.
Samsung highlights some of the impressive features of their new sets, including dual-core CPUs, the Smart Evolution feature that keeps your set updated, voice and control gesture thanks to an integrated camera and microphone.
Highlights for this year include, of course, the 8000 series of LED backit TVs, which will be available this month, except for the 65” behemoth which is still waiting on a release date. In fact, all LED LCD TVs 60” or above are simply listed as TBA, so you’ll have to wait a bit on those.
On the plasma side of things, you can pick up the flagship 64” 8000 series set for $3,949 or opt for a 43” 450 series that’ll cost you just $549.
