The horror sandbox game was axed, but del Toro retains the rights.
THQ may have saved itself from delisting on NASDAQ, but all of the company's changes come at a cost. We've already seen a few games cancelled and now the Guillermo del Toro helmed game 'Insane' has been added to the list.
Development on the open world horror game started in August of 2010 and had an expected 2013 release. Judging by that estimate, it seems like the game must be getting close to ready. That much work into a game combined with a big name like del Toro means that this might not be the last we see of 'Insane.' Since the director has retained the rights to the game, it can still be shopped around to publishers.
