'Ghost Hunters' to Spook Blu-ray this January

Image Entertainment is bringing the popular Sci-Fi Channel series 'Ghost Hunters' to Blu-ray in early January.

Featuring a team of paranormal investigators who travel across America in search of spectral happenings, 'The Absolute Best of Ghost Hunters' culls together two previous DVD releases, "The Best of Ghost Hunters Vol. 1" and "The Best of Ghost Hunters Vol. 2" into one high-def package. Image will debut the Blu-ray version on January 6.

Tech specs will see 1080 video (1.78:1) and Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo audio.

Extras thus far include the bonus featurette "Ghost Hunters Revelations." We'll keep you posted of any future supplemental sightings.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.99.
