'Free Birds' Dated and Detailed for Blu-ray

The animated family comedy will flock to Blu-ray in February.

In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox is bringing 'Free Birds' to Blu-ray on February 4.

From the Academy Award-winning producer of 'Shrek' comes a hilarious animated adventure about two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks who travel back in time in order to keep their species off the Thanksgiving menu.

The combo pack will feature 1080p video, a lossless 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Birds Flipping History; Animating Free Birds: The Main Course; Winging It: Animators in Action; Talking Turkey with Composer Dominic Lewis; Shake A Tail Feather; and Theatrical Trailer.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
