The 75-Inch Samsung ES9000 is Coming to America

What initially sounded like a Korean exclusive is heading to the States in August for $9,999.

When we first saw the news of a 75" LED backlit 3D Smart TV a few weeks ago we were impressed, but a bit saddened based on indications that we wouldn't be seeing it in the US. Samsung surprised us all today though, when they announced that the ES9000 will be hitting our shores next month.

Even nicer is that the price in the US is significantly lower than in Korea. Instead of having to shell out the equivalent of $17,000, we'll only be charged $9,999 for the privilege. It's still not cheap by any means, but that change brings it down to a far more reasonable price point.
