'Avengers: Infinity War' 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Up for Pre-Order! (UPDATE: Release Date Announced)

The Avengers will assemble in 4K HDR and HD later this year.

In an early announcement to retailers, Disney is prepping Avengers: Infinity War for 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray. UPDATE: The release date according to slashfilm.com is August 14.  In addition, a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook, a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Target Exclusive, a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Target Exclusive with Funko Pop Figure, and a Blu-ray Target Exclusive with Funko Pop Figure will all be available as well. 

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
