'Gangs of New York' Headed to Blu-ray

Disney has announced a July debut for the Martin Scorsese crime epic 'Gangs of New York.'

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Cameron Diaz, and the recipient of eleven Academy Award nominations (including Best Picture and Best Director), 'Gangs of New York' will make its long-awaited domestic Blu-ray debut on July 1.

Disney has only issued an early press alert for the Blu-ray, so there are no tech specs or supplement details available. The studio says the full announcement is due in the coming days, so we'll keep you posted.

Retail for the Blu-ray has been set $34.99.
