'The Mechanic' Blu-ray Announced and Detailed

Get ready for more intense hit man action on Blu-ray this May.

In an early announcement to retailers, Sony says 'The Mechanic' will set his sights on Blu-ray on May 17.

The crime thriller stars Jason Statham and Ben Foster and is a remake of the 1972 film directed by Michael Winner.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a lossless soundtrack, and supplements will only include deleted scenes and MovieIQ.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $34.95.
