'A Prophet' Announced for Blu-ray

The acclaimed French crime drama will be sentenced to Blu-ray this August.

Sony Pictures has announced Jacques Audiard's 'A Prophet' for Blu-ray on August 3.

The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and was also nominated as Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards.

Specs have yet to be announced, but supplements will include: Commentary with director Jacques Audiard, actor Tahar Rahim and co-writer Thomas Bidegain; deleted scenes; Tahar Rahim screen tests; and Tahar Rahim and Gilles Cohen rehearsal footage.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $38.96.
