The previously reported Blu-ray release of the big screen adaptation of Maurice Sendak's beloved children's book has been detailed.
Warner Brothers is preparing Spike Jonze's 'Where The Wild Things Are' for a Blu-ray release on March 2.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and the only supplements shared with the DVD release will be four webisodes: The Absurd Difficulty of Filming a Dog Running and Barking at the Same Time; The Big Prank; Vampire Attack; and The Kids Take Over the Picture.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray will be an animated short - Higglety Pigglety Pop (voiced by Meryl Streep and Forest Whitaker), HBO First Look, and four more webisodes: Maurice and Spike; Max and Spike; The Records Family; and Carter Burwell.
The release will also include a DVD/Digital Copy.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $35.99.
