The 2008 adaptation of the Jules Verne novel starring master thespian Brendan Fraser will be going Blu-ray 3D this January.
In an early announcement to retailers, New Line Cinema will be releasing 'Journey to the Center of the Earth - 3D' to high-definition on January 17.

The Blu-ray 3D will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and "over twenty minutes of fun, family-friendly special features" plus movie $ towards 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island' starring Dwayne Johnson hitting theaters on February 10, 2012.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
