John Boorman's 1981 take on the medieval legend will take its seat at Blu-ray's round table this March.
In an early announcement to retailers, it seems Warner Brothers will be bringing 'Excalibur' starring Nigel Terry, Helen Mirren, Patrick Stewart, Gabriel Byrne, and Liam Neeson to high-definition on March 8.
The film is based on one of the first books ever printed, 'Le Morte D'Arthur,' by Sir Thomas Mallory.
The Blu-ray features 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include a director's commentary and a theatrical trailer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $19.99.
