Superheroes, ghosts, Vikings, and more are coming to Blu-ray.
New info has been revealed for several upcoming Blu-ray releases from Warner Archive, Disney, Lionsgate, Sony, and Arrow.
Here's a full rundown of recently revealed details and title announcements:
First up, Warner Archive is prepping Richard Rush's Freebie and the Bean starring James Caan and Alan Arkin for Blu-ray on August 8. Supplements will include a Remastered Theatrical Trailer.
Likewise, the studio is releasing Arthur Penn's Night Moves starring Gene Hackman, James Woods, and Melanie Griffith on August 15. Supplements will include:
- Vintage featurette: Day of the Director
- Remastered Original Theatrical Trailer
Meanwhile, Carl Reiner's The Man With Two Brains starring Steve Martin and Kathleen Turner will hit Blu-ray on August 29. Supplements will include a Remastered theatrical trailer.
In addition, Warner Archive is also set to bring Kinji Fukasaku's The Green Slime and John Landis' Innocent Blood to Blu-ray as well. Release dates and supplements have not been announced yet.
Disney/Buena Vista is prepping Once Upon a Time: The Complete Sixth Season starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Jared Gilmore, and Robert Carlyle for Blu-ray on August 15. Supplements will include:
- The Storybrooke Songbook: Inside the Musical Episode
- Deleted Scenes
- Audio Commentary
- The Fairest Bloopers of Them All
Likewise, the studio will release Daredevil: The Complete Second Season starring Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Rosario Dawson on August 22. No other details have been announced at this time.
In addition, Disney is also set to bring The Lion King 1½ and The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride to Blu-ray on August 29.
Lionsgate will release Benny Boom's All Eyez on Me starring Demetrius Shipp Jr., Dominic L. Santana, and Jamal Woolard on September 5. Supplements will include:
- "Legends Never Die: The Making of All Eyes on Me" Featurette
- Deleted Scenes
- "Becoming Tupac" Featurette
- "All Eyez on Me Conversations" Featurette
- Demetrius Shipp, Jr. Audition
Likewise, the studio will bring Steven C. Miller's First Kill starring Bruce Willis, Hayden Christensen, and Gethin Anthony to Blu-ray on September 5 as well. Supplements will include:
- Director's Commentary
- Deleted Scenes
- "Behind the Scenes of First Kill" Featurette
- Extended Cast/Crew Interviews
In addition, Michael Showalter's The Big Sick starring Kumail Nanjiani, Zoe Kazan, Holly Hunter, Ray Romano, and Adeel Akhtar will hit Blu-ray on September 19. Supplements will include:
- "A Personal Journey: The Making of The Big Sick" Featurette
- "The Real Story" Featurette
- 2017 SXSW Film Festival Panel
- Cast & Filmmaker Commentary with Actor-Writer Kumail Nanjiani, Writer Emily V. Gordon, Producer Barry Mendel and Director Michael Showalter
- The Big Sick: The Other Stuff
- Deleted Scenes
- The Bigger Sick: Stick Around for More Laughs
Keoni Waxman's Cartels starring Steven Seagal, Luke Goss, and Georges St-Pierre will arrive on September 19 as well. No other details have been announced at this time.
Meanwhile, David Lowery's A Ghost Story starring Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck is coming to Blu-ray on October 3. Supplements will include:
- Audio Commentary with Director David Lowery, Cinematographer Andrew Droz Palermo, Production Designer Jade Healy, and Composer Daniel Hart
- "A Ghost Story and the Inevitable Passing of Time" Featurette
- "A Composer's Story" Featurette
- Deleted Scene
MGM/UA is preparing Vikings: Season 4 Volume 2 starring Travis Fimmel, Katheryn Winnick, Clive Standen, and Jessalyn Gilsig for Blu-ray on October 3. Supplements will include:
- Extended/Director's/Unrated Episodes
- Deleted Scenes
- Behind the Scenes – The Queen & the Shieldmaiden (explore the beloved and powerful women within this world.)
- Behind the Scenes – King, Valhalla and the Legacy of Ragnar Lothbrok (Follow a stunt player as he is outfitted, coached through fight moves, and ultimately plays his death in battle before the cameras)
Sony is set to release Robert Englund's 976-EVIL starring Stephen Geoffreys, Robert Picardo, and Sandy Dennis on October 3. Supplements will include:
- ALL-NEW: Commentary with Director Robert Englund and Set Decorator Nancy Booth Englund
- Alternate home video version of the film with 12 extra minutes of footage
Arrow is prepping Herschell Gordon Lewis' Blood Feast for Blu-ray on October 10. Supplements will include:
- Scum of the Earth - Herschelll Gordon Lewis' 1963 feature
- Blood Perspectives - Filmmakers Nicholas McCarthy and Rodney Ascher on Blood Feast
- Herschell's History - Archival interview in which director Herschell Gordon Lewis discusses his entry into the film industry
- How Herschell Found his Niche - A new interview with Lewis discussing his early work
- Archival interview with Lewis and David F. Friedman
- Carving Magic - Vintage short film from 1959 featuring Blood Feast Actor Bill Kerwin

Likewise, the label will bring the George A. Romero: Between Night and Dawn collection to Blu-ray on October 24. The package features There's Always Vanilla, Season of The Witch and The Crazies. Supplements will include:

Finally, Arrow will release Arthur Marks' J.D.'s Revenge starring Glynn Turman, Louis Gossett Jr., and Joan Pringle on October 31. Supplements will include:

- Reversible sleeve featuring original and newly commissioned artwork by Sean Phillips
