Three exploitation films from the cult filmmaker will be restored for Blu-ray in January.
In an early announcement to retailers, 'The Lost Films of Herschell Gordon Lewis' will be heading to Blu-ray on January 8.
Vinegar Syndrome Films presents The Lost Films of acclaimed cult filmmaker, Herschell Gordon Lewis. 3 lost sexploitation pictures, 'Linda And Abilene' (1969), 'Ecstasies Of Women' (1969), and 'Black Love' (1971). All from the original negatives using 2k scanning and fully restored. Blu-ray/DVD combo pack. 'Linda and Abilene,' a lesbian western remains notorious for having been shot on the Spahn Ranch only months before it became inhabited by the Manson Family.
Specs are still forthcoming, but supplements will include: original theatrical trailers for each film; special edition lab cards for each film; and historical liner notes .
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray will be $24.98.
