In an early announcement to retailers, Universal will be releasing 'The Full Monty' on Blu-ray on August 5.
Six unemployed men, inspired by a touring group of male strippers, decide they can make a small fortune by putting on a striptease show of their own-but with one small difference. This "enchantingly funny crowd-pleasing" comedy (David Ansen, Newsweek) features the music of Donna Summer, Gary Glitter, Sister Sledge and Tom Jones.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a lossless 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Audio commentary by Director Peter Cattaneo and Actor Mark Addy; Audio Commentary by Producer Uberto Pasolini; The Deleted Footage; The Cast; Original Publicity Campaign; Music Machine; Development; Production; The Success and Its Aftermath; and A Bigger Picture - A Look at the British Film Industry in the '90s.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $19.98.
