Alfred Hitchcock's 1964 psychological thriller is getting a standalone Blu-ray release in September.
In an early announcement to retailers, Universal says 'Marnie' will arrive on Blu-ray on September 3.
The film is currently available on Blu-ray as part of the 'Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection.'
Kleptomaniac Marnie Edgar (Tippi Hedren), who moves from job to job and has a pathological fear of the colour red, is caught stealing by latest employer, Mark Rutland (Sean Connery). Instead of turning her over to the police, ark forces Marnie to marry him, convinced that he can get to the bottom of her psychosis. .
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio Mono soundtrack, and supplements include: The Trouble with Marnie: 58-minute Documentary; The Marnie Archives: Movie posters, vintage ads and production photos; and Theatrical Trailer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.98.
