The grindhouse action flick sequel is in the works for Blu-ray in January.
In an early announcement to retailers, Universal is preparing 'Machete Kills' for Blu-ray on January 21.
In 'Machete Kills,' Danny Trejo returns as ex-Federale agent Machete, who is recruited by the President of the United States for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man - he must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war and anarchy across the planet. Also starring Mel Gibson, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, and Charlie Sheen. Directed by Robert Rodriguez.
The Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet Digital Copy combo pack will feature 1080p video, a lossless 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include deleted and extended scenes and The Making of Machete Kills.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet combo pack is $34.98.
