Full details are in for the acclaimed biopic of King George VI slated for Blu-ray this April.
As previously reported, Starz/Anchor Bay says 'The King's Speech' will be available on Blu-ray on April 19.
Directed by Tom Hooper (Oscar(r) nominee, Best Director), 'The King's Speech' has been hailed as "a masterpiece" (The New York Observer), a "...crowning achievement..." (Rolling Stone), and "one of the finest moments in modern filmmaking" (Vogue).
The drama is currently ranked #107 in IMDb.com's Top 250 and was recently nominated for a dozen Oscars including Best Actor (Colin Firth), Best Supporting Actor (Geoffrey Rush), Best Supporting Actress (Helena Bonham Carter), and Best Picture of the Year.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, supplements will include: Commentary with director Tom Hooper, The Making of The King's Speech, and King George VI.
