The acclaimed crime thriller starring Michael Caine will have a stateside Blu-ray release this August.

In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Pictures says 'Harry Brown' is headed for high-definition on August 31.

Director Daniel Barber was nominated by the London Critics Circle for the Breakthrough British Filmmaker Award, and the film was released on the format in the UK back in March.

Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include: Filmmaker and cast commentary, deleted scenes, movieIQ+sync, and BD-Live.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $34.95.
