The acclaimed drama based on Mordecai Richler's 1997 novel is planned for Blu-ray this June.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony says 'Barney's Version' is in the works for high-definition release on June 28.
The film stars Paul Giamatti as outspoken TV producer Barney Panofsky and co-stars Dustin Hoffman, Minnie Driver, and Scott Speedman.
The release will be a Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack with 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include an audio commentary, three featurettes and a Q&A with Paul Giamatti and author Annette Insdorf.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is set at $34.95.
