Coming Soon to Blu-ray: Shout Factory May and June 2019 Titles

The distributor's latest Blu-ray titles are now available for pre-order.

New info has been revealed for several upcoming Blu-ray releases from Shout Factory, including Collector's Editions of Princess Mononoke and Night of the Creeps.

Here's a rundown of Shout Factory's new lineup of Blu-rays set to arrive throughout May and June under its various labels: 

May 7

Ethan Hawke's Blaze starring Alia Shawkat, Sam Rockwell, Wyatt Russell, Steve Zahn, and Kris Kristofferson. Supplements will include:

  • Audio Commentary With Director Ethan Hawke
  • Featurette
  • Trailer

 

May 14

Ubay Fox and Agus Pestol's Valentine: The Dark Avenger starring Ahmad Affandy, Indra Birowo, and Mega Carefansa. Supplements have not been detailed at this time.

Hayao Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke: Collector's Edition starring Yôji Matsuda, Yuriko Ishida, and Yûko Tanaka. The Limited Collector's Edition will feature a hard slipcase, a new 40-page book with art and essays, and a Soundtrack CD. Supplements will include:

  • Feature-Length Storyboards
  • Original Theatrical Trailers & TV Spots
  • Princess Mononoke in USA
  • Behind the Microphone

Alberto De Martino's The Chosen starring Kirk Douglas, Simon Ward, Anthony Quayle, Virginia McKenna, Spiros Focas, and Ivo Garrani. Supplements will include:

  • Original International Cut Of The Film, Known As Holocaust 2000 (HD)
  • Rare U.S. Cut Of The Film With Alternate Ending, Known As The Chosen (HD)

Fred Dekker's Night of the Creeps: Collector's Edition starring Jason Lively, Steve Marshall, Tom Atkins, and Jill Whitlow. In addition, a Deluxe Limited Edition will also be available. Supplements have not been revealed yet, but bonus items set to be packaged with the Deluxe Edition will include:

  • An exclusive, limited edition 8" tall Detective Ray Cameron action figure by NECA
  • A second slipcover — made exclusively for this promotion — featuring new artwork from artist Devon Whitehead
  • An exclusive, limited edition 18" x 24" rolled poster — made exclusively for this promotion — of the newly-designed art from artist Devon Whitehead (this will ship rolled, in a poster tube)

Roy Del Ruth's The Alligator People starring Bruce Bennett, Lon Chaney Jr., and George Macready. Supplements are still in progress.

Joseph Losey's Boom! starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Supplements have not been announced yet.
