The third season of the fifth Star Trek series is bound for Blu-ray in January.
In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount is working on 'Star Trek: Enterprise - Season Three' for Blu-ray on January 7.
After a surprise attack on Earth leaves over seven million people dead, Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) and the crew of the Enterprise swear to find those responsible - the Xindi. Taking off into the uncharted region known as the Delphic Expanse, the crew of the Enterprise must hunt down the Xindi and stop them from enacting their ultimate plan: the total destruction of humanity. Along the way they travel to the year 2004 to prevent a bioweapon attack, fend off the mysterious Sphere-Builders, and even meet their own descendants due to a wormhole mishap, all leading up to a desperate race back to Earth to prevent its destruction.
The 6-Disc Set will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and the disc will include: Select Episode Audio Commentaries by David A. Goodman, Chris Black, Connor Trinner, David Livingston, André Bormanis, Mike & Denise Okuda, Mike DeMeritt, Mike Sussman, Tim Gaskill and Manny Coto; Select Episode Text Commentaries by Michael and Denise Okuda; Featurette: In A Time Of War (HD); Featurette: Temporal Cold War: Declassified (HD); Featurette: Archival Mission Logs (SD); and Deleted Scenes.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $129.99.
