Another performance from ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is planned for Blu-ray in October.
In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount will release 'Jeff Dunham: Minding the Monsters' on Blu-ray on October 9.
The Halloween special, which will also air on Comedy Central on October 7th, features Dunham’s most popular characters- Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Peanut, Bubba J and others- in a spooky haunted house setting. Watch as Walter transforms into something grumpier than he already is! Witness Bubba J rise from the dead! Meet Peanut’s alter ego, the purple avenger of the night, and his spicy sidekick! And witness Achmed literally dressed to kill in an outfit that would terrify the most terrifying terrorist. The result is an all-new original live comedy event like no other, complete with each of Jeff’s stage partners starring in their own horror movie trailer.
The DVD and Blu-ray "Minding The Monsters" package will be packed with special features and extras, including: A hilarious collection of "Monstrous Mistakes" outtakes from the special's taping; a behind the scenes look in which Dunham shows Walter's transformation into the grumpiest monster ever; A backstage "Tour of Terror" by Dunham that reveals the inner workings of the "Minding The Monsters" set; A "Minding the Miniatures" look with Dunham at how the special's puppet graveyard was made; A behind the scenes "Monster Movie Magic" glimpse into the filming of the trailers; And a "Frightening Photos" visit to the "Minding the Monsters" photo shoot. Also included is audio commentary and bleeped and uncensored options to provide family-friendly viewing for Dunham's all-ages audience of fans.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $22.98.
