'Platoon' Announced for Blu-ray

Oliver Stone's 1986 Academy Award-winning war epic is gunning for Blu-ray this spring!
In an early announcement to retailers, MGM/UA will be bringing 'Platoon' starring Charlie Sheen, Tom Berenger and Willem Dafoe to Blu-ray on May 17.
The film is currently ranked #144 in IMDb.com's Top 250 and was nominated for eight Oscars and won four including Best Sound, Best Film Editing, Best Director, and Best Picture.
Specs, supplements, and suggested list price have yet to be determined.
