Three more Academy Award-winning Miramax titles are in the works for Blu-ray this January.
In an early announcement to retailers, Lionsgate is working on 'The English Patient,' 'Frida,' and 'The Piano' for Blu-ray on January 31.
'The English Patient' was nominated for thirteen Oscars and won nine including Best Cinematography, Best Director (Anthony Minghella) and Best Picture.
'Frida' was nominated for six Academy Awards and won for Best Makeup and Best Music/Original Score.
'The Piano' was nominated for eight Oscars including Best Picture and won for Best Actress (Holly Hunter), Best Supporting Actress (Anna Paquin) and Best Writing/Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen (Jane Campion).
Specs and supplements have yet to be detailed, but suggested list price for each Blu-ray is $19.99.
