The 25th anniversary edition of the holiday classic is coming down Blu-ray's chimney this October.
In another announcement to retailers, Lionsgate says 'Santa Claus: The Movie' is getting the high-definition treatment on October 26.
The film stars renowned Oscar nominees Dudley Moore ('Arthur,' Lead Actor, 1981) and John Lithgow ('The World According to Garp,' Supporting Role, 1982) in the timeless tale of a runaway elf named Patch (Moore) whose toy aspirations place Santa and Christmas at risk.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements include: Deleted scenes, a making-of featurette, an audio commentary, and trailers.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $19.99.
