'Haywire' Announced for Blu-ray

Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh's action-thriller takes aim at Blu-ray in May.

In an early announcement to retailers, Lionsgate says 'Haywire' will have a Blu-ray release on May 1.

Mixed Martial Arts fighter Gina Carano stars as a black-ops agent who sets out for revenge after being set-up by someone within her agency. The cast also includes Channing Tatum, Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Bill Paxton, and Michael Fassbender.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack, and supplements include a behind-the-scenes featurette exploring Carano's transition from the MMA world to film and a look at the men of Haywire.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
