Disney's long-awaited masterpiece hitting Blu-ray on October 2, 2012 has now been fully detailed.
This enchanting classic comes alive in stunning fashion for in-home viewing for the very first time on Blu-ray high definition with enhanced picture and sound, once again being embraced by new and old generation alike and only available … as long as the spell lasts.
The “Cinderella: Diamond Edition,” with its spellbinding storyline, memorable music, unforgettable characters and spectacular animation, sparkles like never before with a wide-array of bonus features that extend the viewing experience for the whole family to enjoy including never-before-seen material, family-friendly interactive activities, games and more.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 and DTS-HD Master Audio 1.0 original theater mix soundtracks, and supplements include: "Tangled Ever After Animated Short; Behind the Magic: A New Disney Princess Fantasyland; Diane Disney Miller Intro; Personalized Digital Storybook: Bibbidi-Bobbidi-You (Disney Second Screen Experience); The Magic of the Glass Slipper: A Cinderella Story select paragraph; DisneyView.
The suggested retail price for the 2-disc combo pack is $39.99 and a 3-disc combo pack will also be available for $44.99.
Disney has also announced that they will be releasing a 6-Disc Jewelry Box Set which will contain the original movie and the 'Cinderella' sequels and will have a suggested retail price of $89.99.
