Babak Najafi's action thriller starring Joel Kinnaman is bound for Blu-ray next month. Pre-order here.
In an early announcement to retailers, Cinedigm will be releasing 'Easy Money: Hard to Kill' on Blu-ray on March 25.
Directed by Babak Najafi ('Sebbe'), 'Easy Money: Hard To Kill' is the hugely anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed action adventure, 'Easy Money,' which garnered Kinnaman Sweden’s highly coveted Guldbagge Award for “Best Actor.”
Based on the best-selling series of crime novels by Jens Lapidus, the film follows the next chapter of the fascinating characters from the original film, all crossing paths in the form of a single bag of money.
Three years after the adventures in 'Easy Money,' JW (Kinnaman), once a promising student lured by greed into drug dealing, finds himself in prison and struggles to rid his life of illegal activities. Given one final chance with a temporary leave from jail, JW’s life quickly spins out of control in a violent intersection with Mahmoud (Fares Fares, Zero Dark Thirty, Safe House) and Jorge (Matias Varela, “The Borgias”), both of whom have delved even deeper into crime through the years of JW’s incarceration.
'Easy Money: Hard To Kill' is the second in an explosive three-part adventure through Stockholm’s crime underworld. The next chapter in the saga, 'Easy Money: Life Deluxe,' is also forthcoming from Cinedigm.
Specs and supplements haven't been revealed yet, but the suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $34.95.
