Direct-to-Video 'Sublime' Bound for Blu-ray, HD DVD

Posted Feb 22, 2008 at 12:00 PM PST by Peter Bracke

Warner Premiere and Raw Feed will debut their first next-gen title this Spring, with the release of 'Sublime' on Blu-ray and HD DVD.

A dark, twisted tale of terror starring Tom Cavanaugh as an unwitting patient trapped in the mysterious Mt. Abaddon Hospital, 'Sublime' will hit Blu-ray in an unrated cut on April 22 (day-and-date with the standard DVD), followed three weeks later by an HD DVD version on May 13.

Bonus features shared across all versions include an audio commentary by director Tony Krantz and screenwriter Erik Jendresen, two making-of featurettes ( "Surgical Exorcism," "The Shebeen Josie"), and the music video "Have No Fear" by Bird York

Tech specs have not yet been announced, but we'll keep you posted.

Suggested retail for the Blu-ray and HD DVD has been set at $28.99 a peice.

You'll find disc details for 'Sublime' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule and HD DVD Release Schedule, where it's indexed under its respective street dates of April 22 and May 13.
