You'll get 1080p resolution video from common sources at $59.
D-Link has announced the release of their new MovieNite DSM-310 streaming media player, which gives you a 1080p resolution and the ability to stream from Netflix, Vudu, YouTube, Pandora and Picasa. It's currently available at Walmart for $59.
When it comes to inexpensive streaming players, the benchmark is always Roku. The MovieNite comes in at the same price as the Roku 2 HD, which only offers a 720p resolution. If you're content with the limited apps of the D-Link player, it's a pretty decent buy at the price. Of course, the Roku 2 XD gives you 1080p and a vast selection of apps at $20 more.
