Sony's ad supported video site is now ready for Google TV enjoyment.
The folks at Sony have a lot of different ways for you to get their movies. You can download them from the PlayStation store or, if you prefer, the Qriocity service. Did you know they've got a site with free movies and TV shows?
It's called Crackle and it's now optimized for Google TV. On the site you'll find over 250 movies, some of which are actually really good. 'Stripes,' 'The Fisher King' and 'Glory' are all featured this month. There's also a good chunk of anime, which will no doubt please fans of the style.
It may not be the best known source for streaming content, but thanks to Google TV optimization, it's bound to become more popular. "Our customized site is the latest in our ongoing efforts to bring Crackle's extensive content catalogue directly to consumers over IP-enabled and open internet platform," explains Sony's Eric Berger.
