Both displays feature BenQ's Eye-Care technology.
BenQ has announced the launch of its latest display models. The GL2706PQ and GC2870H monitors are both available now.
"With the right monitor, users can really amp up their experience, no matter if it's better productivity at work, or clearer cinematic details for digital entertainment at home," said J.Y. Hu, vice president, business line management at BenQ America Corp. "Our latest monitors strengthen our broad portfolio, allowing users to select the features and requirements they need for their application, all without sacrificing quality or value."
The GL2706PQ features a 27-inch TN panel with a QHD resolution of 2560x1440, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and an LED backlight. In addition, the monitor offers 1000:1 native contrast ratio, a 1ms (GtG) response time, and integrated speakers. Meanwhile, the GC2870H features a 28-inch VA panel with a FHD resolution of 1920x1080, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and an LED backlight. In addition, the display offers a 3000:1 native contrast ratio, a 5ms (GtG) response time, 85% NTSC color gamut coverage, and 178°/178° wide-viewing angles. Likewise, both models include BenQ's Eye-Care technology with ZeroFlicker and Low Blue Light.
The GL2706PQ is now shipping for a suggested retail price of $299, and the GC2870H is now shipping for a suggested retail price of $189.
In addition to the company's new Eye-Care displays, BenQ also recently released its PV270 monitor geared toward photographers looking for a display with reliable color performance to edit stills and video. The display features a 27-inch LED IPS LCD panel with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 1000:1 native contrast ratio. Likewise, the monitor offers robust color space coverage with support for 99% of the Adobe RGB color gamut, 100% of the Rec. 709 color gamut, and 96% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
