Acorn Media Announces 'Foyle's War: Set 8' Blu-ray for May

The latest batch of episodes from the British crime series is now up for pre-order.  

In an early announcement to retailers, Sony is preparing 'Foyle's War: Set 8' for Blu-ray on May 5.

As WWII rages around the world, a police inspector fights his own war on the home-front as he investigates crime on the south coast of England. Later series find the retired detective navigating the world of Cold War espionage.

Supplements have not been detailed yet, but the Blu-ray will feature 1080p video and a DTS-HD MA 5.1 soundtrack.

Suggested list price for the 2-Disc Blu-ray is $49.99.
