The 2015 'Poltergeist' Will Haunt Blu-ray in September

The horror remake arrives on Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D this fall.

In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox is set to release 'Poltergeist' on Blu-ray on September 29.

Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi ("Spiderman," "Evil Dead", "The Grudge") and director Gil Kenan ("Monster House") contemporize the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, the family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.

The Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray combo will feature 1080p video, a lossless 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements have yet to be revealed.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
