'Gator Bait Collection - Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray

Deep in the swamps of Louisiana, nature isn't the only thing that's untamed. Gator Bait explodes onto 4K Blu-ray/Blu-ray in a brand-new remaster of the 1973 Southern-fried cult classic that launched the legend of Claudia Jennings – Playboy Playmate and drive-in cinema icon.

GATOR BAIT

Jennings stars as Desiree Thibodeau, a tough, independent Cajun trapper who lives by her own rules in the bayou backcountry. When a pair of lecherous redneck deputies cross her path with violent intentions, Desiree turns from prey to predator, launching a relentless, blood-soaked campaign of backwoods justice. With the swamp as her ally and revenge in her heart, she'll stop at nothing to make them pay.

Written and directed by Beverly and Ferd Sebastian, Gator Bait is a down-and-dirty, action-packed slice of '70s exploitation gold—featuring gritty performances, atmospheric locations, and an unforgettable heroine who takes no prisoners.

GATOR BAIT II: CAJUN JUSTICE

Deep in the steamy swamps of Louisiana, the law of the land is written in blood. In Gator Bait II: Cajun Justice, the explosive sequel to the cult classic Gator Bait, the backwoods take a brutal turn when sweet-natured redhead Angelique (Jan MacKenzie) marries into a close-knit Cajun clan and finds herself targeted by a sadistic group of outsiders.

When Angelique is abducted and brutalized by thugs who underestimate the fury of her new family, they unleash a storm of primal retribution. Led by her fiercely loyal husband and his kin, justice comes not from the courts, but from the shotgun barrels and gator-infested waters of the swamp.

Directed by Beverly Sebastian and bursting with Southern-fried sleaze, Gator Bait II delivers a heady mix of backwoods vengeance, gritty action, and swamp survival. Restored from the original elements, this UHD/Blu-ray edition brings the bayou to life like never before.

Terror Vision is extremely proud to present these two exploitation classics in HD for the very first time in the world and their worldwide (legitimate) disc debut! Terror Vision has spent the last several years circling the swamps for the camera negatives (that were considered lost) for these films. Over the past couple of years, these elements have been cleaned, scanned, and restored in 4K with fresh color grade to make that greenery, swamps, bloodshed, and griminess pop on your TV.

'Gator Bait was scanned from 35mm negative material in 4K.

'Gator Bait 2 was scanned from the 16mm OCN in 4K.

Sadly, when we came across the OCN and IP for Gator Bait 2 - the final reel was missing for both negatives. We have spent the last several years searching for a print of Gator Bait 2 for that final reel but have come up empty-handed. The finale of Gator Bait 2 will be sourced from the Laserdisc release for your viewing experience.
