Considered by many as director Lamberto Bava's finest giallo, A BLADE IN THE DARK (1983) was notoriously deemed too violent by the Italian TV producers who financed it resulting in its transition to a theatrical release. After years of work, VS finally presents its world 4K UHD debut, exclusively scanned and restored by VS from its Super 16mm Camera Negative and presented in both its full length/full strength version as well as in its NEVER ON DISC export cut, which represents how the film played theatrically and on video.
