Henry is a low-key psychopathic killer. He roams the country and finds his prey with unerring instinct. For a while he settles in Chicago in the run-down apartment of his ex-prison buddy Otis. Into this toxic environment comes Otis' younger sister Becky, who is fleeing her abusive husband and is looking for a place to stay. She feels attracted to Henry and has no idea that Otis and Henry are now murdering together.
In 1986, John McNaughton created a film that showed the banality of evil in a way never seen before. Thanks to the 4K restoration, Henry's human abysses can now be seen in unprecedented image quality.
